Kevin Harris, C0-Owner
Kevin was born and raised here in Chico, California and has been a member of CRC for his entire life. Most of his childhood was spent at the club hanging out with friends by the pool and playing tennis. Kevin went to Pleasant Valley High School, where he was a section champion in tennis. He later moved to the Bay Area where he played #1 for Foothill College.
Kevin came back to finish college at Chico State where he earned his degree in Biology. His plan was to become a pharmacist like his mom, Janet Balbutin. For many years, Kevin had worked at her pharmacy (Chico Pharmacy) as a pharmacy technician. Although he enjoyed his time there, his passion for tennis brought him back to CRC. Kevin began working as a teaching pro at the club and then moved up to be the Tennis Director. He took on the role of general manager in 2011 and then in 2019 became the owner of the club.
In his spare time, Kevin enjoys playing sports. His favorites to play are tennis, basketball, and volleyball. He still enjoys giving tennis lessons and clinics at the club. When he’s not at the club, Kevin enjoys spending time with friends and family; he has a large extended family with many aunts, uncles, and cousins living in the area. He also enjoys spending time with his dogs, Oso and Buddy.
