Jeff Stollberg, Tennis Professional Instructor & Stringer

Jeff has been affiliated with tennis since age 5. Most of his tennis career has been involved in competitive tennis and teaching. Jeff competed on the Pleasant Valley High School team at high levels. After a successful high school period, his college tennis aspirations began to take hold. Jeff played for Butte College for one year, followed by 3 years at Sonoma State University at #1 and 2 singles.

As Jeff’s competitive tennis career began to subside, he developed an enthusiasm for teaching tennis. Consequently, he became heavily involved in youth tennis development such as academies, travel teams. Sparing hits, etc…

Jeff is also a professional tennis stringer for the Chico Racquet Club, always making sure Chico is able to play tennis.

Outside of tennis, Jeff is very active, with many interests, activities, and exciting events. He has worked as a pharmacy tech and lab courier. He has explored pickleball, skiing, international travel, and hiking. Amazingly enough, there have been times he’s enjoyed all these interests at the same time!
