Carol has worked at The Chico Racquet Club and Resort for the past 9 years. She graduated from California State University Chico with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and a specialty in Health Club Management.

With 25 years in the fitness and sports management industry, Carol brings a wealth of experience to our club:

Taught aerobics for 15 years and was certified by A.C.E.
3 years as the Director of Activities at Sports Club of El Dorado in Shingle Springs, CA with Jim Wilson, builder of CRC&R.
8 years at North Valley Athletic Club here in Chico.

Carol was an open racquetball player and took up tennis after starting at CRC&R. Her husband Bill and their three sons all took up tennis at the same time and have enjoyed the sport ever since. Carol is passionate about the club and very excited about the direction of the club over the past few years. The focus of the club and its commitment to help spread the game of tennis in the community as well as within the club are priorities of hers and the management team.

Originally from Grants Pass, OR before moving to Chico. Eldon is a P-1 USPTA Professional. His extensive experience includes:

Over 25 years teaching junior and adult tennis.
Directed Teacher Development Courses, Mental Toughness Clinics, and Junior Development Programs
Coached many top ranked national players as well as sectional and national men’s and women’s teams.
Passed the USTA Sports Science Tests.
Certified USPTA Tester.

Eldon was a board member for the USPTA and a convention speaker. He has also written for tennis publications in the Pacific Northwest and Northern California.
